Data Deletion

RatingWall uses the WhatsApp Business Platform to send and receive messages on behalf of the businesses that use our service. This page explains how to have your data deleted, whichever kind of RatingWall user you are.

If you run a RatingWall account

You can permanently delete your account and everything in it — testimonials, contacts, walls, billing history, WhatsApp connection — yourself, at any time:

• Log in and go to Settings.
• In the Danger zone section, optionally export your data first as a .zip of CSV files.
• Enter your password, type your business name to confirm, and select Delete my account.

Your account is deactivated immediately — your Wall of Love and collection links stop being publicly reachable right away. Your data is then permanently deleted 7 days later. If you change your mind, log back in before then and select Cancel deletion from the banner at the top of your dashboard, or from Settings.

If you'd rather we handle it directly, email [email protected] from the email address on your account and we'll process the deletion for you.

If you replied to a testimonial request over WhatsApp

If a business asked you for a testimonial through RatingWall and you replied over WhatsApp, we hold whatever you sent (your reply, and the phone number it came from) on that business's behalf.

• Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any RatingWall message to immediately stop receiving further messages from that business through RatingWall. This does not by itself delete a testimonial you've already submitted.
• To have a specific testimonial and your phone number removed, email [email protected] with your phone number and the name of the business you replied to. We'll verify the request and delete it, typically within 30 days.
• You can also ask the business directly — every RatingWall account can delete individual testimonials from their moderation queue.
